The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to lead a team during shifts, and experience in front office and operational management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling guest enquiries and issues, and ensuring compliance with Australian workplace health, safety, and licensing standards. Duties and Responsibilities : Hold, or be willing to obtain, a current NT Gaming Machine Manager's Licence and maintain a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, ensuring full compliance with all relevant gaming, liquor, and hospitality legislation. Oversee all day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, gaming, and events/functions. Implement, monitor, and enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards, ensuring compliance across the business. Provide hands-on leadership and supervision of staff, fostering a professional, accountable, and high-performing work culture. Inform staff of required operational resources and supplies to support smooth venue operations and maintain service standards. Financial oversight: prepare, monitor, and control budgets, manage revenue and expenditure, and ensure profitability targets are met. Purchasing and stock control: oversee procurement of goods and supplies, monitor stock levels, and implement cost-effective inventory management. Assist with guest bookings and prepare tables and seating arrangements to support smooth bar and function operations and enhance the customer experience. Identify and report safety hazards and risks to the Venue Manager to help maintain a safe work environment and support compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Customer satisfaction and service outcomes: monitor guest feedback, resolve complaints, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality. Apply strong attention to detail, time management, and effective communication in all operational, supervisory, and managerial duties. Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance management, promoting professional growth and maintaining a culture of excellence.
