The Role We are searching for an enthusiastic and organized Chef de Partie (CDP) to take ownership of a dedicated section in our kitchen. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will ensure your section runs flawlessly during service, producing high-quality dishes that highlight our region's fantastic ingredients. Whether you are an established CDP or a strong Commis Chef ready to step up, this is a great opportunity to refine your skills in a premium, produce-driven winery restaurant. Key Responsibilities Manage and organize a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, larder, or pans) efficiently. Prepare, cook, and plate dishes consistently to the Head Chef’s exact standards. Complete daily mise en place (prep work) for your section prior to service. Assist in minimizing food waste and ensuring stock rotation within your area. Support and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen hands during busy services. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Skills & Experience Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, or 1–2 years as a Commis Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant. A strong team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. The ability to work cleanly, quickly, and calmly under pressure.
