Parts Interpreter & Internal Sales Specialist Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Are you curious by nature, enjoy learning how technical systems work, and take pride in delivering great customer experiences? This newly created role is with a well-established technical business specialising in chemical dosing systems for hospitality, commercial laundries, and wastewater applications . They’re investing in customer success and looking for someone who wants to step up, take ownership , and play a key role in how customers are supported, retained, and grown. This is not a traditional customer service role . It’s a varied, hands-on position combining customer service, internal sales support, and product/parts interpretation, ideal for someone with some experience under their beltwho enjoys problem-solving and helping customers get the right outcome What You’ll Be Doing Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, product questions, feedback and issues across phone, email and internal requests Support customers using chemical dosing systems across hospitality, laundry and wastewater environments Recommend products and solutions based on application, usage and customer needs Provide pricing, product details and basic training where required Identify opportunities to offer additional or alternative products and services Process orders and work with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely fulfilment Deliver after-sales support and ongoing customer care Investigate and resolve customer issues, collaborating with technical and sales teams Champion the voice of the customer and help improve products, systems and processes Core Focus Areas Customer Onboarding & Education – helping customers understand and get the most from their dosing systems Relationship Management – building long-term, trust-based client relationships Problem Solving – proactively identifying and resolving issues Customer Advocacy – feeding insights back into the business Retention & Growth – supporting renewals and identifying expansion opportunities What We’re Looking For Excellent verbal and written communication skills A customer-first mindset with strong curiosity and a practical, hands-on approach Previous experience in customer service, customer success, internal sales or technical support Ability to interpret parts, products or systems (training provided) Comfortable using CRM systems, Excel, Outlook and sales tools Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Bonus Points If You Have Experience with chemical dosing systems or other technical equipment Background in hospitality, laundries or wastewater environments Prior sales or internal sales experience MYOB experience Why You’ll Love This Role Newly created position with scope to grow and make it your own Stable, permanent role with weekday hours Supportive, collaborative team that encourages ideas and initiative Opportunity to build deeper technical knowledge in a specialist industry Your input, feedback and curiosity will genuinely make an impact If you’re looking for a fresh challenge , enjoy learning, problem-solving and building strong customer relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
