This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing technical knowledge, developing people, and staying connected to field operations . You’ll play a key role in building technician capability, ensuring compliance, and driving a strong learning culture across the team. Reporting to the Power Field Service Manager , you will lead the delivery of training programs and manage the competency framework for our HV Field Service team. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the HV Field Service competency framework , including documentation and training tools Assess, coach and verify technician competencies in line with business requirements Develop and deliver engaging technical training programs for field technicians Support technician development plans and capability growth across the team Maintain the Training Needs Analysis and ensure training compliance requirements are met Evaluate training effectiveness and provide reporting on training outcomes Drive continuous improvement of training systems, documentation and processes Ensure statutory and mandatory training aligns with industry standards Promote a strong learning culture across the field service team This role will include occasional travel to deliver training and support technicians across sites. About You You’re a strong communicator who enjoys working in a hands-on technical environment and supporting others to build their skills and capability. You will ideally have: Experience developing training materials and delivering training to technical audiences Strong communication and presentation skills Experience within a technical product or systems training environment Exposure to MV/HV electrical systems including substations, switchyards, breakers, protection relays and transformers Experience within mining, utilities, energy or manufacturing industries Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment Current driver’s licence Desirable Qualifications Electrical Trade Qualification Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Diploma (or higher) in Engineering, Business or related discipline Project management experience We value Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and are committed to Reconciliation through our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.
