BENEFITS: 23 Employee Benefits including: Flexible work arrangements Paid parental leave Salary packaging Purchased leave Private Health Care discounts Wellbeing programs and discounts Education assistance and personal career development THE OPPORTUNITY: This position is the technical training and competency lead for HV Field Service WHAT YOU WILL DO: Reporting directly to the Power Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for; Managing the HV Field Service competency matrix and associated content/documentation and tools Assessing, training and verifying competency of HV Field Service Technicians Delivering Technician competency development in line with development plans and growth targets The role will include a travel component in order to deliver competency and training services as required You will be responsible for: Develop and deliver training packages in an engaging and interactive manner Drive and support the ongoing development and continual improvement of business systems and processes Evaluation of training and documentation to analyse and evaluate statistics for regular reporting Maintaining a Training Needs Analysis and overseeing training compliance Ensuring all statutory training is maintained to industry standards Drive a positive learning culture WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Your willingness to gets hands on delivering training within a fast paced and dynamic environment will be complemented by the following: Demonstrated experience in developing training packages/materials and conducting training sessions to a variety of audiences is essential Electrical trade qualifications (desirable) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable) Diploma (or higher) in Engineering, Business Management or other related fields (desirable) Project Management (desirable) Background in MV/HV Electrical Systems: substations, switchyards, breakers, protection relays, transformers etc. (desirable) Experience within the Mining and or Manufacturing Industry Previous experience in a product/systems training environment Strong communication skills with a keen ability to present technical information Enthusiasm to learn new technologies/products and the ability to adapt quickly Current driver’s license We value Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and are committed to Reconciliation through our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.
