We seek to employ self-motivated individuals with experience in working as a Factory hand in a structural steelwork fabrication workshop to join our team based at Elizabeth South, Adelaide. About the role: As a Factory Hand the tasks will be varied and involve all facets of workshop production. This person’s tasks may include: · Cleaning of steel parts · The use of power tools · Material lifting, handling and storage · Ensuring that scrap steel is disposed into the scrap bins · Emptying rubbish bins · Ensuring timber bearers are neatly stacked · Operate and empty out ride-on sweeper. Manual sweeping and collection of waste that cannot be collected by sweeper · Pick and distribute processed parts as instructed · Any other duties as directed What You’ll Need: · Be able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment · Experience in structural steel environment · A forklift Licence would be useful but is not a prerequisite · Attention to detail What you'll get in return: You will have the opportunity to work with a growing nationally recognized employer in its industry which boasts strong staff culture, and support network.
