The Head Chef will lead kitchen operations, create innovative and seasonal menu offerings, and ensure all dishes meet high culinary standards. They will oversee kitchen staff, manage inventory and food costs, monitor food safety and hygiene regulations, and provide training and mentorship for team members. The role also involves collaborating with management to enhance guest dining experiences and contribute to the resort's reputation. Qualifications Expertise in Culinary Arts, menu planning, and food preparation techniquesStrong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and train staffKnowledge of food safety standards, sanitation regulations, and hygiene practicesExperience in inventory management, budgeting, and cost controlAdaptability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidaysProven ability to create innovative and visually appealing dishesEffective communication skills to collaborate with staff and management teamsFormal culinary training or relevant certifications are highly beneficialPrevious head chef experience in a resort, fine dining, or high-volume environment preferred
