As our organisation continues to expand, we are seeking a Social Media & Executive Assistant to work directly alongside our Founder and Director, Kimberley Perks . This role is ideal for someone who is ready to become the Director’s trusted right-hand support, helping drive high-level execution, organisation, and brand growth across multiple areas of business. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining professionalism and care. This role extends beyond supporting Sunflower Services alone. You will also play a key role in supporting the Director’s future business ventures across property development , health and wellness , lifestyle brands , and a medium-term vision for a children’s clothing brand . About the Role This is a hands-on, fast-paced position combining social media content creation , podcast support , executive assistance , and administrative support as required. Social Media, Content & Podcast Support (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook – LinkedIn experience preferred but not essential) You will be responsible for supporting the growth of Sunflower Services’ online presence through consistent, engaging and high-quality content aligned with our mission, values and branding. Content Creation & Social Media Management Key responsibilities include: Creating, filming and producing short-form content including Reels and TikToks Minimum KPI: 12 reels per week Collaborating with the Director on content planning and execution Capturing photos, interviews and behind-the-scenes content in a fun, professional and authentic setting Staying up to date with trends and creating engaging content that reflects our brand identity Developing content plans and strategies, with the ability to adapt quickly when priorities shift Managing content calendars and scheduling posts Working collaboratively across departments, including coordinating with Zoe (Receptionist/Marketing Assistant) Participating in a minimum of one weekly teams meeting with Zoe to support digital productivity, planning and execution cross states Podcast Recording, Editing & Posting You will also assist in the creation and ongoing delivery of podcast 'The Entrepreneurial Mindset' content by: Supporting podcast recording set-up (microphones, lighting, sound checks, etc.) Editing podcast audio and/or video content Creating short-form clips from podcast episodes for social media Uploading and scheduling podcast episodes across relevant platforms Writing episode descriptions/ agendas and supporting promotional rollouts across TikTok Understanding podcast mechanics including file formats, audio quality, publishing processes, and how to repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form media A strong understanding of podcast workflows and content repurposing is highly desirable A portfolio of work is required as part of your application. Executive & Administration Support In addition to content creation, you will provide executive and administrative support when required, including: Supporting Director with smooth day-to-day operations (if requested) Assisting with calendar management and scheduling (if requested) Supporting inbox management and professional correspondence (if requested) Liaising with stakeholders on behalf of the Director Taking calls, booking meetings, and recording meeting minutes Assisting with business development and outreach support Answering the Gold Coast reception phone Supporting the launch and growth of new ventures through community engagement, digital presence, and audience relationship-building This role is designed for someone seeking a long-term opportunity , with the ability to grow in responsibility and hours as the organisation expands :) About You To succeed in this role, you will be: Passionate about social media, content creation and brand growth Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities Kind, professional and aligned with the values of Sunflower Services Confident working independently and performing under pressure Culturally sensitive, with strong respect and awareness of First Nations communities Strong in communication, writing, and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, email correspondence) Confident using editing platforms/software ( Alitu , Canva, Adobe), or willing to learn Knowledgeable in podcast recording, editing and publishing workflows (desirable) Willing to assist with administration tasks across departments as required Open to learning and growing (junior applicants encouraged if motivated and capable) Requirements: Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) NDIS Workers Screening Check At Sunflower Services, we are proud of our strong workplace culture and supportive environment.
