Our client is currently seeking an experienced Full-time Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team! Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Setting up and arranging tables, ensuring the dining/service area is clean, organised, and ready for service Greeting customers upon arrival, presenting menus and beverage lists, and assisting with selections Taking food and beverage orders accurately and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner Serving food and beverages to customers while maintaining high standards of hospitality and customer service Opening bottles and pouring beverages professionally, including wine service where appropriate Clearing tables, removing used dishes and cutlery, and returning items to the kitchen efficiently Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, refilling and replacing glasses as required Collecting payments, operating point-of-sale machines and cash registers, and accurately processing transactions Providing recommendations to customers, including suggesting appropriate beverages (such as wines) to complement food choices Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualifications. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Knowledge of, or experience with, provincial or European cuisine is highly regarded. Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to maintain efficient and smooth service operations during busy periods. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package of $60,000 to $72,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
