About the role IMMEDIATE START As a 4th year Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice at B.C Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will be a key part of our team servicing and installing residential and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across the Sarina and Mackay, QLD region. This is a full-time position with ongoing support and training to help you complete your apprenticeship and become a qualified tradesperson. What you'll be doing Assist in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems Work alongside experienced technicians to gain practical, on-the-job experience Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration and air conditioning equipment Complete documentation and reporting requirements Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations What we're looking for A 4th year apprentice in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Strong technical aptitude and a keen interest in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work well in a team as well as independently Good communication and customer service skills A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship Current drivers licence required What we offer Full time position - minimum 38 hour work week Supportive and hands-on mentoring Work vehicle supplied upon qualification Competitive remuneration based on experience At B.C Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, we are dedicated to supporting our apprentices and helping them develop into qualified tradespeople.
