You will drive and motivate the team and coordinate workshop activities to ensure work is completed to a high standard, on time, within budget, and with an overarching focus on workplace health and safety. As a Team Leader, you will provide clear direction, mentoring, coaching and constructive feedback to employees, while supporting the broader leadership team in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes. Specifically, It Entails Supervision, training, development and coaching to team membersDeveloping and promoting a continuous improvement mentality in the workforceAssisting in succession planning and resolution of performance issuesEnsuring accuracy of product design and compliance to relevant standardsPreparation, handover and monitoring of job packagesEnsuring workshop activities are optimising personnel, material and machine efficiency (in collaboration with the Electrical Production Supervisor)Assisting with ensuring budget targets and indirect costs are adhered toEnsure timesheets are completed accurately and submitted on time, including overtime approvalProvide regular reporting on job status and progressWork closely with Project Managers to forecast hours on jobs Work hands-on alongside the workforce to achieve required outcomes and maintain strong team engagement About You The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes Qualified Electrician with a current electrical licence (Mandatory)Competence in Microsoft Office suite of products.Strong knowledge / previous experience in similar environment. (Manufacturing of New Builds / Overhaul Workshop for Minning Equipment )Driver’s LicensePrevious experience supervising or leading a multi-disciplined teamDemonstrated ability, willingness, and confidence in resolving people management issuesStrong technical problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issuesForklift and Gantry Crane ticket’s desirable but not required.Forklift and gantry crane tickets are desirable, but not essential In addition to the above, it is essential to have strong communication and negotiation skills, a team and service-oriented attitude, and excellent organisation skills.
