Groundsman – Araluen Botanic Park, Roleystone, Perth WA Araluen Botanic Park, a place of natural beauty nestled in the serene landscapes of Roleystone, Perth WA, is seeking a dedicated Groundsman to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about horticulture and maintaining the aesthetic and ecological health of our renowned botanic haven. Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the park including rubbish removal and BBQ areas. Perform gardening tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, mulching, weeding, pruning, and watering. Ensure pathways and green spaces are free from debris and litter. Safely store and handle chemicals and garden equipment per OH&S guidelines. Support Park events with setup and traffic control. Work collaboratively with the park team to support events and special projects. Assist in guiding volunteers and participating in educational outreach programs as needed. Requirements: Commitment to the mission and values of Araluen Botanic Park. Experience in gardening and lawn maintenance including the use of relevant chemicals and equipment. Familiarity with OHS regulations and safe work practices Desirable: Licenses to drive tractors and handle chemicals (ChemCert Chemical Accreditation).
