Stablehand - Casual Position State Equestrian Centre | Brigadoon, WA Up to 30 hours per week | Flexible & Weekday Work Available Equestrian Western Australia is seeking a Casual Stablehand to join our team at the State Equestrian Centre (SEC). With the event season now in full swing at the SEC, we need an extra set of hands to help maintain our stable facilities and support event operations. This is a mainly weekday role, working as part of the grounds and facilities team. About the Role This role supports the Facilities Coordinator by ensuring the stables, stable block, wash bays and surrounding facilities are maintained to a high standard to support competitions and day-to-day operations at the State Equestrian Centre. To be considered for this role, applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia. Key tasks include: Cleaning and maintaining stables and stable blocks Maintaining surrounding facilities and shared areas Collecting and disposing of waste and ensuring facilities remain safe and tidy Assisting with event preparation and facility readiness Supporting the Facilities Coordinator and Grounds Team with operational tasks Desired Attributes We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience in a similar stablehand, grounds, or facility role Can work independently or as part of a small team Is reliable, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining clean facilities Helping with event preparation and pack down Supporting the grounds and facilities team Desirable (but not essential): Experience operating machinery such as a Bobcat / skid steer Experience in equestrian, agricultural, or sporting environments Why Join Us?
