Our people actively participate in building our luxury motor yachts! About the Role We are looking for a motivated and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our Supply Chain team. This role would suit someone who enjoys taking initiative, solving problems, and working closely with people across the business to keep things moving. You will be part of an award-winning Australian manufacturing company where supply chain plays a critical role in supporting production and delivering high-quality products. This is a hands-on role where your contribution will be visible, valued, and where you will have the opportunity to grow your career over time. Key Responsibilities Raising and managing purchase orders to support production requirements Liaising with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery timelines and order status Following up and expediting orders to ensure materials arrive on time Working closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability Helping resolve supply or delivery issues when they arise Coordinating inbound shipments with freight forwarders and logistics partners Maintaining accurate purchasing records in the ERP/MRP system Contributing to improvements within the purchasing and supply chain processes About You You are someone who: Is driven, motivated and takes pride in doing things well Has a proactive mindset and naturally looks for solutions rather than problems Is comfortable speaking with production teams to understand their needs and help resolve supply challenges Enjoys working with suppliers and building strong working relationships Has an inquisitive mindset and likes understanding how things work Is organised, reliable and able to follow things through to completion Wants to grow personally and professionally within a strong and supportive business Experience that will help you succeed Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain roles Exposure to manufacturing in a marine, automotive or similar industry Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated experience working with freight forwarders and managing long variable lead times Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and experience using ERP/ MRP system. (Infor Visual highly regarded) Experience working in a technical parts environment, with the ability to understand components, assemblies & engineering drawings. Why Join Riviera?
