About the Role As a Cleaner at Branyan Road State School, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Principal or their delegate, you will ensure that cleaning duties are performed to a high standard in accordance with the approved school cleaning program. Key responsibilities include: Cleaning and sanitising classrooms, toilet facilities, and other school areas. Maintaining and cleaning equipment and surfaces, including windows, floors, and furniture. Managing rubbish disposal, litter control, and graffiti removal. Activating and deactivating security systems and ensuring buildings are locked and secure. Liaising with the Principal or Business Manager regarding cleaning supplies and reporting safety concerns. This role would suit someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. About You The following traits would be beneficial: Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role. Attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards.
