Position Details Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking a Lifestyle Team Leader to join our team on a Full-Time basis, working 38 hours per week across 9.30AM - 5.30AM Monday-Friday . Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you'll take the lead in planning and delivering an engaging lifestyle program that enriches the lives of our residents. You'll guide a team of Lifestyle Assistants, helping them create moments that matter through social, recreational, and wellness-based activities. You'll also be a key connector with the broader community - coordinating entertainment, liaising with volunteers, and building strong ties with groups such as schools, religious leaders, and service clubs. Responsibilities: Greeting residents and informing them about the day's activities Welcoming new residents and completing their social profiles and activity plans Creating monthly calendars and newsletters Organising community events and external outings Supporting staff development and participating in continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you will need: Certificate IV in Leisure and Health Demonstrated experience in diversional therapy or lifestyle programming 1-2 years experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role A current National Police Check A current “C” class driver’s license and confidence in transporting residents Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a small team Enthusiasm and creativity to enrich the lives of our residents Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to effectively work with a range of internal & external stakeholders A compassionate approach and empathy for older people and their families A high level of self-motivation, initiative and the ability to work without supervision You'll Stand out if you have: Knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded but not essential Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality standards Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC framework Why Join Us?
