Essential CriteriaA relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in Australia)5 years relevant experienceMentoring and project management experienceA current driver’s license Desirable CriteriaIt would be advantageous to have some experience using the following:Trimble and Leica Robotic Total Stations and GNSS ReceiversTrimble Digital LevelLeica Laser ScannersDJI dronesNeo, GeoCivil, Trimble Business Centre, Leica Cyclone & Infinity surveying softwareAutoCAD, BricsCAD drafting software ResponsibilitiesThe positions responsibilities include, but are not limited to:The undertaking of engineering surveying and cadastral surveying, field work, office processing and drafting of required worksSupervision of staff carrying out survey field and office workProject management of jobs including quoting, organisation, completion and invoicing of jobsAssisting in day-to-day management of jobs including organisation of field work and equipmentInvolvement in implementation of safety and training of staffMaintaining and liaising with existing and new clients and/or stakeholdersCarrying out of all relevant surveys in compliance with the relevant legislation and associated regulations and directionsProvide adequate supervision of staff in the case where some duties are carried out on behalf of a Registered Land and/or Engineering Surveyor by non-registered personnelTake legal responsibility for all surveys where a Surveyors Certificate is signedComply with all Office of the Surveyor General “Land Survey Audit” requirements including achieving a minimum “Satisfactory” Audit Classification for any audited survey, where applicableUndertake the minimum amount of Professional Development (or CPD) in accordance with the Office of the Surveyor General’s requirements in order to maintain registration status Why join PDA?We offer a diverse and inclusive workplace, flexible working arrangements, friendly office environment and culture.
