We're looking for two Roof Plumbing Apprentices to join a small, friendly team. We're looking to grow our team with two Apprentice Roof Plumbers , based in Launceston. Working in a friendly, closeknit team environment this apprenticeship will provide on-the-job skills and experience to gain a nationally recognised qualification – Certificate III in Roof Plumbing. What would this involve? You would be employed by Work & Training, and hosted to our valued Host Business. Work is generally full time – Monday to Friday. Full entitlements including four weeks of holidays per year. Attending block training dates through TasTAFE. You would receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the apprenticeship. Your workplace supervisors and team would provide daily instruction and additional workplace knowledge. Learn how to: Install and maintain roofs, cladding and flashings, Install rainwater products such as downpipes, gutters and storage tanks, Work in a safe manner, adhering to strict guidelines and processes, Use and maintain a variety of tools and equipment, Develop and utilise your practical knowledge in rain and storm water systems, Enhance your verbal and written communication skills, Read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
