Are you a qualified and experienced sheet metal fabricator looking to stay busy on your days off, or wanting a change of pace from full-time work? At Messina Group, we provide all aspects of domestic and commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and electrical services. We supply, hire, repair, maintain and install air conditioners throughout the Cairns region, through our businesses Messina Air Conditioning, MAE Refrigeration and Magneto HVAC. We also manufacture various air conditioning related items, such as cages, brackets and stands. What are we looking for? We are looking for a qualified and experienced sheet metal fabricator to join us! This role can be casual or part time and will support our current sheet metal fabricator in the construction of cages, brackets and other air conditioning and electrical items. You will predominantly be doing TIG and MIG aluminium welding. Our air-conditioned workshop has a new Fronius TPS 320i welder, guillotine and panbrake. For the right candidate, we are willing to be flexible in the hours and days you work to suit your availability, while still ensuring that you can meet project deadlines.
