We specialise in: New residential roofing with selected builders. High-quality domestic re-roofs. Architectural and custom flashing work. Growing commercial new roof and re-roof projects. Most work is in the Cairns region, with occasional runs to the Tablelands and as far south as Innisfail and as far north as Mossman. The Role You’ll be working across a variety of roofing projects — from straightforward installs through to detailed custom work where skill and problem-solving matter. Day-to-day tasks may include: Fascia, gutter and downpipe installation. Roof battens and sheet installation. Box gutters and complex flashing work. Re-roofing and new build installs. Measuring and organising flashings. Working safely and efficiently as part of a tight team. We’re a hands-on crew. Everyone pulls their weight and looks out for each other. What We’re Looking For We want someone who cares about the finished product and takes ownership of their work. You’ll likely have: Trade qualification OR strong 3rd year apprentice experience. Confidence installing metal roofing systems end-to-end. Understanding of roof upgrades and current standards. Strong attention to detail (especially with flashings). Good communication and reliability. Ability to work unsupervised when needed. Tickets / Requirements Construction White Card. Working at Heights. Own vehicle suitable for trades person. Australian driver’s licence. Your own basic tools. Bonus Points (Not Essential) EWP ticket. First Aid. Blue Card, working with children. Experience with commercial roofing or architectural work.
