Role Description The Emergency Response Technician role involves responding to emergency situations, conducting safety inspections, implementing risk management procedures, and supporting on-site teams in maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities include using emergency response equipment, coordinating evacuation and fire safety drills, and providing first aid when necessary. The role is on-site and located in Henderson, WA. Qualifications Proficiency in emergency response procedures, including fire safety, rescue operations, and first aid.Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and developing safety protocols.Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and decision-making skills under pressure.Accreditation or certification in emergency response or occupational health and safety training.Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging and potentially hazardous environments.Knowledge of environmental safety practices and tools.Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience in documenting safety records is an advantage.Previous experience in emergency response teams and knowledge of legislative requirements is preferred.
