We offer a range of employment benefits to support our staff, which may include: Rostered days offFlexible work arrangementsSalary packaging The Opportunity We have an opportunity for an experienced individual to operate a variety of civil engineering plant equipment for the purpose of constructing and maintaining BVSC assets. As a Plant Operator Team Member, you will operate a wide range of plant equipment including graders, loaders, excavators and rollers to deliver pavement construction and maintenance projects, while assisting in reviewing plans, determining scope of works and providing recommendations where appropriate. You will also perform pavement and drainage activities and undertake basic routine and corrective maintenance on hand tools, power tools and minor plant equipment in accordance with project specifications and safety requirements. To view the Position Description, pleaseclick here. About You We are seeking an individual who holds NSW RMS Heavy Rigid (HR) licence and has obtained Traffic Controller Qualification. You will have the following skills and experience; Proven recent plant operator experience working on pavement construction activities or similar.Demonstrated relevant experience in road and drainage works which may include (but not limited to): in-situ stabilisation, gravel re-sheeting, pavement upgrade, site levelling, pipe laying, culvert construction, drainage and environmental control installation.Experience in operating and using a variety of hand and power tools which may include (but not be limited to): chainsaws, concrete cutting saws, concrete vibrators and pumps.Demonstrated ability to interpret both paper and electronically based plans and schedules and apply these to work being performed. Benefits This is a permanent full time position working 38 hours per week.
