You will be one of the Supervisors in the Central Specimen Reception unit (CSR) located at the Gold Coast Laboratory. CSR Supervisors are responsible for general troubleshooting, rosters, training and competency assessments, workflow monitoring, daily oversight, and staff encouragement and support. NOTE: This position will generally involve working day and afternoon shifts; and includes the option to work weekend shifts. What you'll do: In this role, you will maintain proficiency in AUSLAB and ieMR while supporting the operational management of pre-analytical processes within Central Specimen Reception. You will perform and oversee pre-analytical procedures, contribute to quality systems and control activities, and support staff through training, recruitment, and performance management to ensure consistent service delivery across the Gold Coast Group. You will also act as a key resource for clients, assist with non-technical tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. About you: Has Experience in or the ability to rapidly learn pre-analytical processes in a large and complex specimen reception unit. Proven ability to solve problems and show initiative. High level leadership skills and a demonstrated willingness to succeed. Excellent interpersonal skills. Sound understanding of laboratory quality systems and the requirements of NATA accreditation and ISO certification. While not mandatory, a Certificate III or IV in Pathology Assistance or the equivalent would be an advantage Why work with us?
