The Project Engineer supports the Senior Project Engineer in achieving safe, timely, and high-quality project completion within budget. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will provide technical, administrative, and HSEQS support to ensure project integrity and compliance Key Responsibilities:Assist the SPE and Construction Manager to ensure the project is delivered to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfactionIdentify and assess risk to the project as well as the implementation of strategies to mitigate riskCost and forecast control to assist the project managers with strategic planningBuild effective and & collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisorsMaintaining quality, environmental, and safety systems across the projectLiaise with subcontractors to monitor and control their performance ensuring the quality and standard of workmanship performed both on and off site is in accordance with the specifications and relevant proceduresManage construction budgets to allow accurately profit / loss forecasting and monitors the financial performance for certain aspects of the projectSkills and Competencies Required Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering or similarMinimum 4 years' experience as a project-based engineering role across civil infrastructureDemonstrated experience with forecasting and budgetingReviews design and translates to written plans and drawings illustrating construction methodologies, andAbility to develop project delivery plans. Evaluates and estimates commercial and technical risk.Manage specific engineering tasks independently and contributes to the development of project plans and schedules.
