About the role Gracey Engineering is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in the Blue Mountains and Central West NSW region. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and diverse projects. What you'll be doing Interpret and follow engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate and weld a range of metal components and structures Operate a variety of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding Fabricate, assemble, and install metal products and structures Perform quality checks and ensure work meets safety and quality standards Collaborate with the engineering team to provide input on design and fabrication methods Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures What we're looking for Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Strong skills in MIG, TIG, and stick welding, with the ability to produce high-quality welds Experience in the fabrication and assembly of metal components and structures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety and quality standards Relevant welding certifications or qualifications (desirable) What we offer At Gracey Engineering, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
