We are currently seeking experienced Industrial Spray Painters for on-going work. The role will be offered on a MON - FRI Roster. Your Primary Responsibilities Working closely with the maintenance team, you will ensure every plant leaves our facility with a professional finish: Surface Preparation: Perform cleaning, sanding, masking, sealing, and surface correction to prepare units for paint. Application: Apply high-quality paint and protective coatings to trailers and various components. Quality Control: Inspect your completed work and rectify any defects to ensure it meets specifications. Equipment Care: Safely operate spray-painting equipment and maintain a clean, professional paint booth. Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all WHS procedures (including working at heights and using PPE), maintain tools, and promptly report any mechanical faults or safety concerns. Collaboration: Work effectively with sandblasters, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production deadlines. Selection Criteria We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who brings both technical skill and a strong safety mindset: Proven Experience: Demonstrated background as a Spray Painter within an industrial environment. Technical Skill: Strong expertise in full surface preparation (sanding, masking, sealing) and the application of industrial coatings. WHS Knowledge: A solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices. Team Spirit: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues. Physical Capability: Capability to handle repetitive manual work and occasional heavy lifting as required by the role.
