Calling all Coffee Enthusiasts! Good Cartel Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our vibrant team in sunny Broome, Western Australia! About the Role As a Barista at Good Cartel, you'll play a vital role in crafting delicious coffee beverages and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You'll also contribute to the smooth operation of the cafe, ensuring a positive experience for both our team and our guests. Responsibilities: - Craft high-quality coffee drinks using professional techniques and a variety of brewing methods. - Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment. - Operate the espresso machine, grinders, and other coffee equipment with expertise. - Maintain a clean and well-stocked coffee station. - Prepare and serve other cafe beverages like tea and hot chocolate. - Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues when needed. - Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations. - Cash handling and point-of-sale operations (POS system). - May assist with light food preparation and presentation tasks. Qualifications - Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Barista, preferably in a specialty coffee shop. - Strong passion for coffee and a commitment to quality standards. - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under pressure. - Meticulous attention to detail and a clean work ethic. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment is a plus.
