Position Overview The Handyman is responsible for maintaining company premises, sheds and occasionally assisting with basic site preparation and property maintenance tasks. This role ensures our facilities and external areas are safe, tidy, and professionally presented at all times. Key Responsibilities · General building maintenance and minor repairs · Basic carpentry, painting, and patching work · Minor plumbing repairs (non-licensed tasks only) · Minor Electrical repairs (non-licensed tasks only) · Assisting with shed and yard organisation · Maintenance of company storage areas, vehicles and parking zones · Basic tool and equipment maintenance · Lawn mowing, edging, pruning, hedging, weed control - general garden care · Irrigation system checks and minor repairs · Pool Maintenance Site Support · Preparing and maintaining safe access to electrical work sites · Supporting tradespeople with non-electrical tasks when required · Waste removal and site clean-up · Stock delivery to sites when required Essential · At least one year of full-time work experience as a Handyperson. · Strong knowledge of safe tool operation. · Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. · Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks. · Valid driver’s licence. · Willing to provide police and medical clearances if requested. · Willing to partake in drug and alcohol testing if required by the employer. · Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
