The People and Capability team is part of the Corporate Services function. This small, and busy team based in Perth and Brisbane, provides advice, administers and delivers services across the employment lifecycle for the company. The Role: In this role, you will be based in Perth and will report the People and Capability Lead based in Brisbane. You play a critical role in delivery of operational services in the function specifically in the areas of workforce planning, recruitment, international mobilisation, onboarding, and systems management and administration. You will also support the People and Capability lead in implementing projects and initiatives relating to employee engagement, performance and career development and policy, procedure and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Advice and coordinate with leaders on sourcing, recruitment, selection and onboarding of team members Coordinate with internal and external teams and partners to recruit, mobilise and onboard international candidates. Administer and manage the HRIS to update and maintain records, generate contracts and variations and provide online services. Coordinate with the Capability Development coordinator to induct, onboard and organise internal and external training for candidates. Coordinate with payroll and other business services teams to ensure relevant information and records are provided for action and reporting to meet deadlines] Collaborate and assist the Lead and the broader team in implementing improvement and change management projects in engagement, process and procedures, development and employee relations. Administer the P&C inbox and respond or direct queries and information requests to the appropriate team member for action. To be successful in this role you: Hold a qualification in human resources: a diploma or above in HR will be highly regarded Have demonstrated success in previous HR roles, ideally in rapidly growing medium/ medium-large sized businesses. Demonstrate proficiency in Office365 applications and HRIS administration and improvement. Demonstrate ability to deal with conflicting priorities and varied work load. Have strong interpersonal skills and are effective at dealing with difficult situations and conversations. Have strong detail orientation to ensure information input and output is accurate and record keeping is effective Demonstrate curiosity and interest in professional development and commitment to ensuring fair, safe, inclusive, compliant, and engaging workplace and culture.
