Location : City of Melville Operations Centre Salary : Up to $98,600 p.a. 12% Super Base: $81,020.94 to $86,485.42 p.a. Shift Payments: Up to $14,300 extra p.a. Employment Type : Temporary Full Time Roster : 7-on / 7-off rotating roster – day, afternoon & night shifts with additional shift payments of up to $14,300 per year What You’ll Do Conduct high-visibility patrols across the City (day, afternoon and night shifts) Take proactive action to prevent and deter community safety, compliance and amenity issues Investigate and enforce legislation including the Dog Act, Cat Act, Local Laws and associated regulations Respond to animal management matters, parking offences, noise complaints, littering, and security-style incidents Assess situations, problem-solve in the field, and escalate matters to internal or external partners where required Work collaboratively with WA Police and other partner agencies Utilise modern technology systems for dispatch, reporting, evidence gathering and case management What We’re Looking For Current C Class Driver’s Licence Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in compliance, investigations or local law enforcement (ROCS 1 & 2 highly regarded) Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and its practical application Proactive, adaptable and confident in dynamic environments Excellent communication, conflict resolution and sound decision-making skills Physically fit, resilient and capable of operating in a fast-paced frontline role Desirable: Experience in community safety, law enforcement, ranger services, animal management (including dangerous dog handling), court processes, or other enforcement-based roles.
