About the Position We have an exciting opportunity for an Operator Waste to join our Infrastructure Services Team based in Onslow. If you are an experienced plant operator with a HR licence and front-end loader ticket looking for a new challenge and/or a relocation to an iconic Pilbara town, then this role maybe the opportunity you are looking for! The Operator Waste's primary duties involve the management and movement of waste at the Shire's waste facilities and regular waste collections. The role is required to operate an assortment of plant and equipment and undertake a variety of roles across the Shire of Ashburton. As such the successful candidate will need to be flexible, willing to train into a variety of positions, be willing to travel, and be a team player. A compactor ticket, local government experience, and waste experience would all be highly regarded. Located in Onslow you could enjoy the unique fishing and snorkelling activities that the Pilbara coast is renowned for. You will be required to travel to other waste sites in Onslow and the Shire such as Tom Price which is close to the beautiful Karijini National Park.
