Site Fitter – Mining Location: Paget, QLD Employment Type: Full-time Werner Engineering is seeking a qualified Site Fitter with proven mining experience to join our growing team. This role involves a combination of on-site work at mine sites and workshop duties at our Paget facility , including assessing, assembling and disassembling mining equipment to a high standard. Key Responsibilities Carry out site-based fitting work on mining equipment Assess, assemble and disassemble mining machinery and components Perform fault finding, repairs and maintenance Work safely and efficiently in accordance with site and WHS requirements Maintain high workmanship and quality standards Complete required documentation and job reporting About You Trade qualified Fitter (essential) Extensive experience working on mining sites Strong mechanical knowledge of mining equipment Efficient, reliable and self-motivated High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong safety focus and understanding of site procedures Willingness to work both on site and in the Paget workshop Live in the Mackay area What We Offer Ongoing, stable work with a reputable local engineering company Exposure to a variety of mining equipment and site work Supportive team environment Competitive remuneration based on experience Site Vehicle
