The position We are looking for a full-time Performance Marketer for our Gold Coast office. This role supports the company’s product-led and content-led demand generation activities through the execution and optimisation of paid performance campaigns, with a primary focus on the US market. Responsibilities include managing paid search and paid social channels, monitoring and analysing campaign performance, preparing reports, managing advertising budgets, and implementing conversion rate optimisation initiatives to improve funnel efficiency. The role works with internal stakeholders to support campaign delivery and may undertake other duties reasonably required within the scope of the position. Summary of Duties/Tasks Supports Cake’s PLG and content-led demand generation strategy by driving scalable growth through performance marketing, directly contributing to revenue and customer acquisition efficiency. Focus on US market impact: Essential for scaling our presence in the US, helping us grow sustainably in this key market. Ownership of paid advertising channels: Leads the setup, activation, and optimization of paid search and social platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn), ensuring campaigns deliver measurable ROI and reduce CAC. Top-to-mid funnel efficiency: Combines traffic acquisition with CRO initiatives to improve conversion rates and overall funnel performance. Data-driven optimization: Analyzes campaigns daily to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and implement strategies to enhance campaign efficiency and performance. Leverages reporting and insights: Produces regular and post-campaign reports, translating metrics into clear, actionable recommendations to inform strategic decisions. Budget management: Ensures advertising budget tracking and pacing are meticulously managed to avoid over/under-spending while maximizing returns. AI and innovation: Utilizes emerging AI tools to streamline campaign management, enhance creative outputs, and drive operational efficiency. Collaborative problem-solving: Works cross-functionally, aligning with designers and stakeholders to create high-performing creatives and share insights for continuous improvement. Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications A relevant bachelor’s degree A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience Deep understanding of Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, with a proven ability to scale campaigns. Expertise in performance analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Solid knowledge of CRO principles, with experience improving conversion funnels and landing pages. Familiarity with marketing KPIs such as CAC, ROI, and LTV, and their application in decision-making. Awareness of emerging AI tools and technologies for campaign management and creative optimization. Experience in B2B SaaS marketing, particularly in performance-led growth strategies. Other Skills Performance Marketing Execution Build, activate, and manage campaigns on Google Search, LinkedIn, and other platforms. Optimize campaigns for maximum ROI through rigorous A/B testing and experimentation. Data-Driven Decision Making Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights. Develop and present data-informed reports, translating metrics into strategies. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Lead testing and optimization initiatives to improve landing pages and user experiences.
