About the Role: WA Limestone is currently seeking experienced Loader/Excavator Operators to work at our Flynn Drive work site. Applicants must have proven experience operating both loaders and excavators, and be ready to start immediately. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Operating excavators for earthmoving, material handling, and site preparation - GPS, and trim work to precise specifications Recent experience in operating CAT 966/CAT 972/CAT 980 (H/M) loaders Performing screening and crushing, loading dump trucks as required Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and site procedures Conducting daily equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure machinery is in top condition Working efficiently in a high-production environment with a focus on quality and accuracy Assisting with general site duties as required To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following: Experience and skills required for the position: 3 years’ experience in Excavator Operations – up to 80t Competent and qualified to operate CAT Loaders: CAT 980/966 Loaders. Experience with rock breaking Experience placing Armour Rock Experience in loading onto dump trucks, semi tippers, and road train combinations Ability to load trucks with correct weights - including Road-trains & Semi-Trailers Proficiency with Load Rite/Scales system is ESSENTIAL Relevant experience working within the Quarry sector will be highly regarded Hold a valid Australian Driver’s License and White Card MUST have relevant Australian recognised tickets (Excavator, Loader Ticket) Ability to work autonomously as well as being a team player Strong safety awareness MUST pass full medical check Other requirements: A “Can Do” attitude to working Safely Ability to align to WA Limestone company values Relevant experience working with Earthworks / Materials Work and machinery history 2 contactable references All successful applicants will be required to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen and Pre-employment Medical prior to offer of employment.
