Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this is a hands-on Project Manager role with real ownership. This is not a desk-only role. You'll be in the office and on-site — meeting large-scale clients, coordinating crews, solving problems, and keeping jobs moving. The Opportunity You'll work closely with our Operations team to keep multiple commercial fencing projects running smoothly, efficiently, and predictably. Your core mission is to bring structure, foresight, and calm execution to a high-volume, fast-turnaround trade environment. Projects range from half-day works to two-week installs, often running concurrently. Key Responsibilities 1. Planning & Delivery Manage scheduling and coordination across multiple active fencing jobs Oversee clean handover from Sales to Operations Develop and adjust job programs (crews, access, sequencing, scheduling) Liaise closely with Estimators to ensure scopes are understood and deliverable Dynamically re-prioritise work to prevent downtime and bottlenecks 2. Site Execution & Oversight Directly manage 10 Team Leads, each responsible for their own fencing crew Coordinate daily with the Site Supervisor, who oversees quality and on-site execution Conduct site walks, confirm scope, access, and mark-outs where required Keep teams accountable to job cards, timelines, and delivery expectations 3. Client & Internal Communication Act as the operational point of contact for client PMs, builders, and engineers Proactively manage expectations and resolve issues before they escalate Feed site and delivery insights back to Estimators to improve quoting and variations 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure works are delivered in line with OHSE and site requirements Identify risks early and escalate or close out issues promptly 5. Reporting & Workflow Systems Track job progress, productivity, variations, and safety metrics Keep internal systems up to date (job boards, schedules, documentation) Use technology confidently (iPads, job management tools, spreadsheets, AI-enabled workflows) How This Role Is Structured (Important) You are not doing this alone. 10 Team Leads manage day-to-day crew execution Site Supervisor oversees quality, standards, and site delivery Procurement Manager handles materials and supplier coordination Storeperson pre-packs jobs and materials Estimators provide clear scopes and handovers Admin team supports documentation and comms Operations Manager provides authority, support, and escalation Your focus is scheduling, coordination, communication, and delivery flow. You are not responsible for procurement, quality assurance, or quoting. Skills & Attributes Proven experience in commercial fencing or trade-based project delivery Comfortable managing multiple crews / team leads in parallel Organised, calm under pressure, and able to run many jobs without chaos Confident communicator with crews, supervisors, clients, and consultants Strong "make it happen" mindset — accountable and self-driven Tech-comfortable and systems-minded Leads in line with company values and helps lift the people around them Requirements (Essential) Commercial fencing experience (chain wire, garrison, temp fencing, rural, security, etc.) Experience working for a trade subcontractor (not just head contractors) Strong understanding of drawings, scopes, and construction sequencing White Card valid Driver's Licence Large mental bandwidth — if you consider yourself an A-player and can back it up, we want to hear from you Minimum 3-5 years of commercial fencing experience required Minimum 3-5 years of trade subcontractor experience required Why Join Agrimate?
