About the role We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team on Groote Eylandt, NT, in a full-time FIFO position. In this key role, you will deliver efficient and reliable plumbing services to support our construction projects as well as repairs and maintenance activities for clients across the region. Australian citizenship is required for this position. What you'll be doing Carrying out a wide range of plumbing maintenance and repair tasks, including unblocking drains, fixing leaks, replacing fixtures and fittings, and upgrading plumbing systems Diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing problems Assisting with the installation of new plumbing systems and equipment Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes and regulations Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken Collaborating with other trade professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team What we're looking for Fully qualified Plumber with a current Australian Plumbing License Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Plumber role, preferably in a FIFO or remote environment HR license and Excavator VOC (desirable but not essential) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong communication and customer service skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and weekend work as required What we offer At GEBIE Civil and Contstruction, we pride ourselves on being a dynamic and supportive employer that values the wellbeing of our people.
