The Benefits Permanent day shift Salary $55 per hour base Overtime Fully Maintained Vehicle Consistent generous overtime available Strong safety culture and well-resourced maintenance team Work on lots of different projects not just the same everyday Southeast Darwin location The Role Working within the maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for keeping heavy equipment and processing assets running reliably across a busy industrial site. Day to day you will be involved in: Maintenance and repairs on trucks, mobile plant and fixed equipment Fault finding, servicing and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery Supporting shutdowns, breakdown response and reliability work Working closely with operations teams to minimise downtime Maintaining safe work practices and compliance with site procedures Manage contractors on-site to ensure work is carried out to plan The Requirements Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or similar Strong experience in heavy industry — manufacturing, quarry, mining, logistics or large-scale industrial environments Drivers Licence Experience working on Fixed and Mobile Plant Equipment High Risk licences (or willingness to obtain) advantageous If you’re a trade-qualified fitter who enjoys working on heavy equipment and wants a stable role with consistent overtime, I’d love to hear from you.
