Job Info Location: BIBRA LAKE, WA Salary: Not Specified Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Full-time Landscape Gardener position available in Bibra Lake Perth, WA 6164 On behalf of FPM Landscapes, a leading Perth-based provider of landscape construction, design and ongoing maintenance services, we are seeking a full-time Landscape Gardener to join the team. FPM Landscapes delivers functional, sustainable and high-quality outdoor spaces across a range of projects, including residential and commercial landscaping, landscape construction, nature play spaces, and reticulation/irrigation works. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team supporting landscape construction and establishment works, with related maintenance and irrigation duties as required by project scope. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Prepare sites, seedbeds, planting beds and growing areas, including soil conditioning and topsoil preparation. Interpret and implement landscape plans/specifications and assist with site set-out for construction works. Install hardscape and softscape elements, including paving, retaining structures, turf, trees, shrubs, flowers and garden features. Construct and establish landscaped areas for residential, commercial, industrial and public sites. Prepare lawn areas, lay turf/instant turf, and undertake plant establishment works. Install and assist with maintenance/repairs of irrigation and reticulation systems for landscaped areas. Perform post-installation and establishment maintenance (e.g. watering, mulching, pruning, fertilising, mowing, edging and weed control) to maintain presentation and plant health. Apply weed and pest control measures in accordance with workplace procedures and safety/environmental requirements. Carry out drainage and erosion-control measures as part of landscape construction and site stabilisation works. Use landscaping tools, plant/equipment and materials safely and effectively, in line with WHS requirements. Assist with nature play and playground-related landscape works for schools, parks and early learning environments. Qualifications and Skills: AQF Certificate III or Certificate IV in Landscaping, Horticulture or related field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications. At least 1 year of demonstrated experience as landscape gardener. Practical skills in hardscape and softscape installation, planting, turfing and garden establishment. Experience using landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Sound knowledge of plant care, soil preparation, irrigation/reticulation basics and safe work practices. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team across varied sites. Strong reliability, communication skills and a professional approach to client-facing environments. Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $76,512- $82,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
