With a proven history of excellence in HVAC installation and building services, PYR Building Services delivers reliable, high-quality duct systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and site plans to determine duct layout and installation requirements. Measuring, marking, cutting, and shaping duct sections and sheet metal to required specifications. Installing, assembling, and securing duct systems for HVAC applications in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Conducting maintenance and repair work on existing duct systems, including inspection and troubleshooting. Coordinating with engineers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution. Managing small teams or assisting apprentices to ensure work meets company and industry standards. Following WHS regulations and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Performing insulation, sealing, and fitting of ductwork to ensure airtight and energy-efficient installations. Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: At least two years of full time work experience. Proven experience in duct installation or HVAC systems fitting. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving and practical skills for on-site adjustments. High attention to detail and quality workmanship. Physically fit with the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards. Team-oriented approach with good communication skills.
