We are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our successful workshop team. About the role As a Trades Assistant you will support our Fabrication workshop to ensure we deliver a quality product to our client, in full and on time. This will include: Providing support to the team as required to complete work activities Using the Forklift and Overhead Cranes to transport steel as required Operating a variety of tools including grinders, power drills and other cutting or shaping tools as required to complete assigned tasks Providing assistance to Boilermakers and Welders in the workshop Assisting the Workshop Superintendent in various ad hoc duties What we offer A positive and inclusive work environment Opportunity for career growth for those who are looking to develop Competitive rates of pay About you You will ideally have experience of working within the fabrication industry with the following: Forklift ticket Overhead crane experience Positive, can-do attitude Solutions focused, always working to execute the defined task with quality and precision in a timely manner Ability to work effectively as a team Sound interesting?
