Minprovise is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day site operations across mining projects and shutdowns in the Mackay, Queensland region. This is a local Mackay opportunity with flexible working arrangements available , including full-time or part-time hours. School hours may be considered for the right candidate. This role involves coordinating project and shutdown teams while ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will work closely with planners and management to deliver successful shutdowns and projects while maintaining strong safety and operational performance. Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Manage day-to-day site operations across project and shutdown work. Lead and coordinate site teams to deliver safe and efficient outcomes. Work closely with planners to determine upcoming project and shutdown labour requirements. Assist with project planning including timelines, cost estimates, and resource planning. Monitor project performance and report site KPIs. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support shutdown and project delivery including mobilisation and demobilisation. Assist with budgeting and cost control within your area of responsibility. Maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams. Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives.
