About the Role: Tasman Rope Access is seeking an experienced and organised Workforce Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient scheduling and workforce planning of our shutdown and project operations across WA. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you'll take ownership of the 90–21 day planning window—liaising with internal teams, clients, and external providers to coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and reflect long term forecast within internal systems. Maintain and update the master roster and workforce allocations in advance. Liaise with client planners and internal stakeholders to confirm labour and equipment requirements. Monitor fatigue management and escalate concerns where necessary. Confirm availability of personnel and communicate rostered shifts/projects. Coordinate vehicle and equipment bookings in advance. Prepare comprehensive handovers to the short-term planning team. Support recruitment and planning managers with forecasting and trade coverage. About You: Experienced interpreting client labour forecasts and managing large schedules. Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Professional and proactive with a solutions-focused mindset. Excellent people skills, with the ability to work closely with internal and external operations teams. Thrive in a team environment that is extremely inclusive and engaging. Experience managing multiple jobs at one time will be advantageous. Experience with workforce planning for Rio Tinto, BHP and FMG would be advantageous.
