Summary: The Resort Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall presentation of our resort in Coolangatta, Queensland. The supervisor will oversee housekeeping staff, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team. Ensure all guest apartments are cleaned to the highest standards. Conduct daily inspections of guest apartments to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Train and mentor new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Manage scheduling staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage. Maintain records of housekeeping activities and report any maintenance issues. Qualifications: Previous experience in housekeeping is essential Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Basic organisational skills to manage tasks and staff effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
