Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Revenue Manager! We are seeking a commercially minded and detail oriented professional to support our Revenue team in driving performance and maximising profitability. Working closely with the Director of Revenue, you will assist with pricing strategies, forecasting and reporting to optimise revenue and market share. ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Director of Revenue, you will play a key role in gathering and analysing critical data across the clustered hotels, supporting research, forecasting and revenue strategy implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Revenue Manager or experienced Reservations Manager to further develop their skills within a highly experienced team where innovation, experimentation and confident strategies are encouraged and celebrated. The location of this role is flexible for the right candidate. You may be based at the Gold Coast cluster office, onsite at either Dorsett Gold Coast or Dorsett Melbourne, or in a hybrid arrangement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Liaising with key stakeholders within the hotels including Sales and Marketing, Reservations and Hotel Operations teams Communicating key event and high demand periods Leading or assisting in projects as required Attending, contributing in &/or leading any meetings requiring revenue management input Reporting on any commercial analysis as required Managing pricing and yielding decision in the hotel RMS (IDEAS G3) Monitoring and reviewing competitor strategies ABOUT YOU Previous experience in Reservations or Revenue within hotels or the travel industry Strong numerical, analytical and computer skills Solid understanding of revenue management principles and practices Excellent working knowledge of Excel and key systems including Opera Reporting and Analytics, IDEAS and Delphi Proven ability to prioritise, problem solve and work effectively under pressure Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment Full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident) If you are someone with a passion for the hospitality industry, and looking to grow your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Dorsett Hospitality International.
