About the Role We are inviting applications from highly experienced Loss Adjusters ready to step into a National Technical Manager role. Whether you prefer to work entirely from home, or be based in our Sydney or Adelaide offices, this is a truly supportive leadership position. You will lead by example, leveraging your substantial technical knowledge to drive the best possible outcomes for our clients. Rather than just reviewing files, you will be a champion for continuous improvement—using excellent communication skills to mentor our team, deliver impactful feedback, and elevate the capabilities of our adjusters across the board. Key Responsibilities Mentoring & Training: Create, maintain, and deliver training sessions while providing one-on-one mentoring to new and existing adjusters. Effective Feedback & Quality Assurance: Conduct regular file audits and peer reviews. Crucially, you will deliver clear, constructive, and empowering feedback that actively improves our adjusters' knowledge and skills. Technical Escalation: Assist adjusters in navigating complex and commercial claims, managing fee approvals, and ensuring best-practice resolutions. Portfolio Management: Maintain and manage your own small, specialised portfolio of claims. Strategic Collaboration: Participate in senior management meetings, drive business improvement initiatives, and join client marketing meetings as required. Please note: We offer true flexibility. You can choose to work 100% remotely from home, or be based out of our Adelaide Head Office or Sydney office. Interstate travel and occasional attendance at the Adelaide office will be required regardless of your primary work location. Key requirements include: A minimum of 10 years' claims/adjusting experience. Membership with AICLA, alongside formal Loss Adjusting qualifications. A Diploma in Loss Adjusting is required as the minimum qualification level. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, specifically in coaching, giving feedback, and stakeholder management. Specialist claims experience (e.g., Liability, Business Interruption, and/or Machinery Breakdown) is highly desirable and connects to an attractive incentive scheme. Building Consultancy, Engineering qualifications, or prior management experience are highly advantageous. Remuneration We offer a competitive base salary of $100,000 Super , paired with a highly rewarding and achievable incentive scheme allowing you to earn significantly greater remuneration based on your performance and portfolio (OTE $150,000 ).
