About the role This is a permanent full-time role in the Water and Sewerage team, based at Council’s Moruya Depot. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering maintenance, renewal, installation, verification, and assessment services for electrical, control, instrumentation, and communication systems across the Water and Sewer network. The starting salary for this position is in the range of $2,993.19 to $3,542.78 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation. About you You’ll bring strong technical capability, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to maintaining essential services for our community. You take pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic operational environment. Your application will further demonstrate: A Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or an equivalent qualification, and a NSW Qualified Supervisor Certificate for Electrical work. Experience in the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of electrical, control, and communication systems, ideally within the water and sewer industry. Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage resources and materials effectively. The ability to work harmoniously and provide leadership within a team environment. Well-developed oral and written communication skills. Competency using industrial and office computer applications and systems.
