Thinking differently, operating differently, rewarding differently. About the role We are seeking dedicated and proactive Field Assistant to support our Exploration Geology Team. This role offer an excellent opportunity to be hands-on in exploration geology, contributing to key activities in the field while working closely with the exploration team. This is a critical role that provides flexibility and dynamic planning opportunities. The successful applicants will work closely with the exploration drill rigs, assisting in the collection of samples, transporting these samples to the lab or designated locations, and performing data entry. Attention to detail is a must. This position will be based on both day shift and night shifts. As this is a physically demanding, manual labor-intensive position, a high level of fitness is essential. Key Responsibilities: Assist with exploration and geological activities in the field Work closely with exploration drill rigs to collect and transport RC and Core samples Record and enter sample data into the geology system Participate in toolbox and safety meetings to ensure compliance with safety protocols Adhere to OH&S legislative requirements in all field operations Assist with pegging out drilling sites for exploration activities Carry out fieldwork as directed by geologists Role Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience as a field technician, working alongside RC & Diamond Drillers Strong attention to detail and accuracy in sample collection and data entry Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in an outdoor setting Flexibility to adapt to changing shift patterns, including night shifts Good communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach Current WA manual Driver’s Licence.
