We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Remote Area Nurse – Men’s Health to join the Men’s Health Program and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. This role can be Fly-In Fly-Out and supports the delivery of culturally appropriate men’s health services across the region. The position can be offered as a permanent role or an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary health care to over 6,000 remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander residents across 3 East Arnhem wards. Essential Requirements We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates a strong understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, with an awareness of the challenges faced by Yolŋu people living in remote communities. Candidates must have a current Registration and Practicing Certificate as a Registered Nurse through AHPRA and At least 3-5 years post graduate experience with demonstrated advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote area nursing.
