Technical Business Analyst – Cyber Security Sydney CBD | Hybrid Contract to 30 June 2027 Up to $1,050 per day, including super An experienced Technical Business Analyst is required to support a major Cyber Security Uplift Programme within a NSW Government organisation based in the Sydney CBD. This role will work across multiple cyber and technology initiatives, supporting the delivery of security improvements aligned to the ACSC Essential Eight framework. You will work closely with technical teams, vendors and stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into clear documentation that supports delivery and procurement activities. Key Responsibilities Elicit, analyse and document technical and business requirements across cyber, infrastructure and cloud initiatives Facilitate stakeholder workshops and produce documentation including functional specifications, process flows and user stories Translate technical requirements into clear business documentation Support procurement activities (RFQ/RFT/RFP) and end-to-end project delivery Work closely with architects, engineers, developers and project managers Key Requirements 7 years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex ICT environments Experience supporting cyber security uplift programmes, particularly Essential Eight initiatives Exposure to areas such as Application Control, Application Hardening, Office Macros, MFA, Privileged Access Management or IAM Experience working across cloud, infrastructure, networking or Azure environments Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with technical teams and vendors Experience in government or highly regulated environments is highly regarded We need to see experienced Cyber Security BA's with a background in NSW Government and Essential 8 capability uplift for this role, so please only apply of you come with this experience.
