This position will provide respiratory and other after-hours physiotherapy services as needed, to patients at the Children's Hospital at Westmead in the evening and on weekends. This senior role will provide advanced clinical skills, support and training to junior staff during after-hours and participate in service development and coordination of the after-hours team of physiotherapists. Current shift availability is Monday and Tuesday evenings (4 hour shift), Saturday and Sunday during the day (8 hour shift). Significant postgraduate experience and knowledge in the relevant caseload. Demonstrated advanced level of clinical skills in the relevant caseload. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, (including negotiation and conflict resolution skills in (insert caseload specifics) and proven success in multidisciplinary team settings. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with an ability to work flexibly within clinical and administrative service demands. Experience in supervision of physiotherapy staff and students Demonstrated leadership skills in service delivery improvement activities and/or research.
